under macOS, keyboard shortcuts using `option` don't work in Burp's text areas

hello again. because of the Accessibility issues i'm encountering with Burp that i've shared in another post (Windows linefeed rather than macOS linefeed), i'm trying to achieve what i want to do through key remappings. the issue now is that the `option` key doesn't work in the repeater text areas. i should be able to move from word to word with `option right` or `option left`, but the caret doesn't move. is this overridden somehow? is this a bug? is this possible to make the macOS standard keyboard shortcuts work? thank you.

`command left` and `command right` should also go to the beginning and the end of the Screen line. it does not work in Burp. `control a` and `control e` should go respectively to the beginning and the end of the File line. not working either. the list of standard macOS keyboard shortcuts is available here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201236 thank you!

Hi Are you adjusting your shortcuts under "User options > Misc > Hotkeys" within Burp?

hi Hanna, i missed that part, thanks. that could indeed work, except that i still can't remap to the standard macOS one. in macOS you go to the next or previous word with `alt` + left/right. it's not possible to register a Hotkey just with `alt` in Burp. it requires at least another key like `control`. the Mac `command` key is also not recognized as `command` but as `control`. there doesn't seem to be any difference between `control` and `command` as far as Burp is concerned. so that's not gonna work. any other help possible? thanks.

Hi Thanks for that information! We've raised this as a bug. In the meantime, you won't be able to get the same key bindings as the macOS defaults. Hopefully, you can get somewhat close using control/command and control/command+shift. If you're having issues with duplicate hotkeys, you can select a hotkey and press escape to clear a hotkey that you wouldn't typically use.
