Unable to quit Burp after undocking Proxy tab

I detached the Proxy tab and quit Burp and it saved that way. I want to change it back ... now if I re-attach the tab or use view -> restore default tab layout and try to quit, nothing happens. If I force quit, the tab layout does not get saved and the Proxy tab is again detached when I start it back up again. If I leave the proxy tab detached it quits as expected. Burp Pro v202310.1.2 on MacOS 13.6

Thanks for getting in touch. I've just been trying to replicate this here, but I'm not seeing the same issue, so I may be taking slightly different steps. Can you please email support@portswigger.net with the following to help us try and replicate the issue? - A copy of the output from Help > Diagnostics - Confirmation of how you're trying to quit Burp when nothing happens - A screen recording showing the steps you're taking when the issue occurs.

I encountered the exact same issue today when I accidentally detached the Proxy tab. I was able to resolve the problem however, by following these steps: In a Terminal window navigate to ~/Library/Preferences and delete all .plist files that start burp.* Start BurpSuite and from the Help menu select "Clean Burp from Computer" and select everything except the Burp License key option. Once that cleanup is complete, close and restart BurpSuite. Hope this helps.
