Unable to crawl

Giron, | Last updated: Mar 09, 2023 04:54PM UTC

I get the following error when I attempt to crawl a site, "Paused task due to: could not connect to any seed URLs." I am able to access the site on my machine (which has Burp suite installed), I am able to access the site in the Burp browser as well. I can intercept and then send requests to repeater. From HTTP history I "add to scope" so I know it isn't spelled incorrectly. But once I try to crawl the scoped URL it doesn't work. Please help!

Hi Leslie, Are you able to provide us with some screenshots of how you are setting up your scan so that we can see exactly what you are doing? If it is easier to do this via email then please feel free to do this via support@portswigger.net and we can take a look from there.

Hello Ben, thank you for responding! What exactly do you want to see screenshots of? If you are referring to my upstream proxy settings, unfortunately I am unable to show you that. I'm just trying to do a simple crawl with default scan settings. From "Dashboard" I click "New Scan", I choose the "Crawl" scan type and make sure the correct URL is under "URLs to scan" and start the scan.
