Unable to access labs - Server Error

Ayesha | Last updated: Jun 28, 2024 07:18AM UTC

I have been trying to access portswigger CSRF lab "SameSite Lax bypass via cookie refresh" since yesterday but, it keeps throwing 504 gateway timeout - "the server didn't respond in time".

Hi Ayesha, Are you still experiencing this issue as of right now? I have just tried to launch this particular lab and was able to do so successfully - if you are still seeing this behaviour is it the same for other labs as well?

I encountered the same problem today and kept reminding me 504

Hi, Are you still having this issue as of right now? The Web Academy environment should be up and running so it would be useful to know if this is a persistent issue for you.

I'm experiencing the same problem, labs are taking longer to start than usual, and responses are too slow. I've tested this with all JWT labs and one Authentication lab (2FA bypass using a brute-force attack) using axios (Node.js).

Hi Denis, Are the labs still launching for you at this point in time (they are just being 'slow'?)?

All the labs I've tried since yesterday have been very slow. Examples of labs I've tried : - web cache poisoning with an unkeyed header - targeted web cache poisoning using an unknown header - web cache poisoning with an unkeyed cookie - web cache poisoning with multiple headers But also on a completely different topic : -low-level logic flaw Are you experiencing a general latency issue on the Web Academy environment ?

Hi, It looks like we have experienced some issues with the Web Academy environment but we believe this should now be much improved. If this is still not the case are you able to let us know?

Hi, I've done some labs this morning, everything seems to work well again. Thank you.
