Unable to access an application which require a class B authentication through BURP

Jose, | Last updated: Nov 28, 2019 04:46PM UTC

Hi, I am unable to access an application which require a class B authentication through BURP. I am able to access the application normally on the browser. The application asks me to choose the certificate and after choosing my class B certificate, the page opens normally on the browser. But when I try to access the same application via BURP, the browser doesn't ask me to choose the certificate but gives error as below. 403 Forbidden Connection denied by ACL. How can I fix this issue? Is there any settings available on BURP to configure a class B certificate for authentication? Thanks, Jerry

There are options to configure client SSL certificates to be used by Burp under User Options ? Client SSL Certificates. Let us know if this helps.

Thanks for your message. Can you email support@portswigger.net with some screenshots of the setup you are using in Burp and the errors that you are seeing so we can take a closer look at this with you, please? Are you using a client SSL certificate that has been configured under User Options -> TLS -> Client TLS Certificate?
