The scan is configured to use recorded login sequences. This requires browser-powered scanning, which your hardware does not support. Please see the system requirements for details.

Hi Ela, Thanks for your post. I can see from the diagnostics you have provided that you are running your Burp Suite Enterprise installation on Windows Server 2012 - unfortunately, this version no longer supports Chrome which is what we use for the embedded browser; please see the following link for details on Chrome sunsetting support for Windows versions: https://support.google.com/chrome/a/thread/185534987/sunsetting-support-for-windows-7-8-8-1-and-windows-server-2012-and-windows-server-2012-r2-in-2023?hl=en Please see your system requirements documentation below, which details the Windows server versions we support: https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/enterprise/getting-started/system-requirements/standard-sys-req I would advise upgrading your OS to a supported version so you can perform browser-powered scanning. Just a note to say that the recorded login sequence requires the browser to operate, so this is why you are seeing the error message. I hope that's clear; let me know if you have any questions. Best regards,

Hi Ela, Thank you for your reply. Regarding the system information provided, please refer to our minimum hardware requirements: https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/enterprise/getting-started/system-requirements/standard-sys-req Because your system memory is below our minimum required resources, this could be why browser-powered scanning is failing to work on your system. If you send over your Scan Debug Log I would be happy to have a look and see if there are any other issues preventing this scan from proceeding. The Scan Debug Log can be found by navigating to: Scans > Your Scan > Logging > Scan Debug Log Please send over the logs to our support email at: support@portswigger.net Best Regards.

Dear Support, The above is the requested logs, Shall advise the next course of action Thank you, Ela

Hi Ela, Thank you for providing the logs. There is nothing in the logs that indicates any additional issues. The burp browser is required for recorded login sequences and your system does not meet the minimum hardware requirements provided in the prior reply. This results in the browser being unable to function and ending the scan. We recommend upgrading your hardware to meet our system requirements if you require recorded login sequences. If you increase your system resources and still encounter issues, please let us know so we can assist you. Best Regards.

Dear Support, I believe, it is not related to the hardware requirements, it is more on the bugs or required enhancement on the product or due to the enterprise with trial version. Anyway, since it is trial version and not interested further to troubleshoot on this matter. Thank you for your support so far. Thank you, Ela
