Support for Full-Screen View and Split View in OS X

Dan | Last updated: Jan 27, 2016 08:53PM UTC

Would love this feature, especially in El Capitan, so I can easily put Burp Suite and Firefox side-by-side. Apple provides Java libraries for integrating it (com.apple.eawt.FullScreenUtilities and some others).

Thanks for this. We do plan to make better use of native usability features on different platforms, and we will consider supporting full and split screen views on OS X when we do this work.

Thanks for reporting this Dan. We've added a note to our development backlog.

There seems to be an issue when using full screen on OSX. If you open the filter dialog on the target tab, you lose access to the original burp window until you take the app out of full screen mode and switch windows (using the task bar as Burp does not allow you to open a specific dialog or window via the window menu for some reason (another feature that would be nice).
