Strange behavior of proxy's "save item"

I try to debug some android app. It send some thrift packets, so body looks like encoded. Unpack gzip/deflate in requests/responses does not change anything, so I assume there are no gzip encoding during https. But when I save item, body changes in file. Some bytes are the same, some are not. Like ec bd 07 60 1c 49 96 25 changes to 3f 3f 07 60 1c 49 3f 25 Burp cannot properly save binary data?
