Stop burp processing killing application server domain

We have a BURP automation to perform penetration testing. This automation is hosted on an application server (Weblogic and Tocat both tried). Automation suite starts BURP tool and performs penetration testing. As soon as the tests finish and Burp tool exits it kills the application server domain. Any way to close BURP but still keep the application server running?

In ordinary usage, shutting down Burp won't affect the application server process. It sounds like you might be launching the application server together with Burp in a single process. When Burp exits, it terminates its process, which might explain why your application server also exits. If this is happening, we suggest you revise the design of your automation set-up so that Burp isn't running in-process with the application server.
