SSL Burp certificate MacOS

Hi, I'm Lorenzo. I've followed the entire guide to install the CA certificate generated by Burp for Safari. https://portswigger.net/support/installing-burp-suites-ca-certificate-in-safari I've followed each step but it seems it does not work. I still get "connection is not private. Safari can not connect to mywebsite.com" for https websites.

I'm sure I've followed each step. I did all the procedure again, and it seems it can not work for any web browser too. In the interceptor tab, it seems I get the request from any application, but no response.

Hi The easiest web browser to set up with Burp Suite is Firefox. Intercept disrupts outgoing requests, so you will not be able to see the response from your application there. If you go into the HTTP history table, you should see your record of requests and responses. Have you tried removing the certificate and then reinstalling it in your keychain? Did you try restarting Safari after installing your certificate and setting it as always trusted?

It seems re-installing Burp community works. But then if I poweroff my machine, I need to reinstall it again. Does Burp need any specific (root) permission to check / to grep the certificate on keychain?

So to clarify: the certificate, once installed, does not persist in your keychain? Have you tried installing the certificate as a root user?

Upgrading my OS to Catalina 10.15.4 seems to have resolved the issue! Thanks :)
