SQL solutions don't work in SQL injection attack

Hello none of the labs Lab: SQL injection attack, querying the database type and version on MySQL and Microsoft and the next one after it work? i've tried using my browser and burpsuite and even had to use solution and still nothing works followed videos followed there payload to a T and didn't work reset browser cache and history relogged in and still nothing works Ask some cyber sec guys also said thats weird please help

Hi Peter, I have just run through these labs and been able to solve them using the solutions provided so they do appear to be working as expected. To confirm, are you using Burp to issue your payloads (as the solutions suggest) or are you entering these directly into the address bar of the browser? If it is the latter then you need to consider whether certain, special characters need to be encoded.
