Showing included libraries

Hi, burp uses a number of external libraries, for example bouncycastle. Why do you not publish which library and version is being used within burp, so that I can just re-use those libraries instead of having to add similar libraries which increases the memory footprint unnecessary. Thanks, Steven.

Hi Thanks for the feedback! We'll discuss publishing libraries and versions in Burp with the team and get an appropriate feature request raised. In general, we wouldn't encourage extension authors to rely on the same libraries and versions as Burp, as these may change between versions, or we may not be including the whole library. Is there any particular functionality that you are interested in that we could expose via the Montoya API? By introducing functionality as part of the API, we can avoid making breaking changes to extensions as new functionality is added or core libraries are changed.
