ShortCut key APIs and Feature

Hi Team, I would like to recommend adding a feature to the APIs as well as to BurpSuite. For example, if I have selected a specific value in the request/response editor and I want to decode it, I have to open the menu using right-click, then click on "Send To Decoder," which is a very slow process. The same applies for Montoya APIs. It would be helpful if someone need selected a value from the request editor.

Hi You can register a hotkey to send to Decoder directly - just go to "Settings > User interface > Hotkeys", and type "Decoder" into the hotkey search bar. After that, you can highlight the item in the table by clicking on it, and enter a key combination to set the hotkey. Extensions are not able to register their own hotkeys using this interface. However, we have an ongoing feature request for this functionality, to which I have added your +1. Please let me know how you get on!

Hi Hannah, Thank you for your reply. Also, as you mentioned, the team has ongoing feature requests for registering hotkeys. With this feature, can we grep or perform whatever action with selected values from the request editor, correct?

Hi guys, my team is dealing with large amount of API endpoints and having a shortcut to send request to AuthMatrix extension quickly would be a real time saver. Please consider allowing Hotkey in extension API in future releases. Thank you. :)
