Scanner - Live Scanning

Hi There, I am using Burp Suite Professional v1.7.02 beta. There is a very issue in Live Scanning. Every time I select option Don't Scan in Live Passive Scanning and close the Burp Suite. Whenever I start Burp Suite next time, then it selects Scan Everything option by default and I have to manually select Don't Scan option.

Hi Praveen Thanks for your message. Live scanning is part of project-level options. Project-level options are those relating to the work that is being performed on a particular target application, including: - Everything in the new "Project options" tab, such as session handling rules. - Non-UI-related options in individual Burp tools, such as Proxy and Scanner. You can read more about Burp project here: - http://blog.portswigger.net/2016/04/introducing-burp-projects.html - https://portswigger.net/burp/help/suite_burp_projects.html Project-level options are stored (a) in a project file, or (b) in a config file. If you require passive scanning to be off when creating a new project, you should create a project-level configuration file containing that setting, and select the configuration file in the project wizard when creating a new project. You can use configuration files to manage different Burp configurations for particular tasks. For example, you might need to load a particular configuration when working on a particular client. Or you might create different configurations for different types of scans. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
