Scan a website with burpsuite

Matt | Last updated: Oct 20, 2022 05:34PM UTC

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience, i am a beginner with burpsuite, i would like to ask you a question: how can I scan a URL on a RemoteApp(Mozilla Firefox on windows server 2019) with burpsuite? if I try to enter the URL obviously it can't do anything and I can't intercept the traffic with the proxy on Mozilla because if I try to set it, the target site will no longer load.

Hi Matt, Just to clarify, how would you normally access this app - via a URL in a web browser or via some other means? When you mention that if you try and proxy the traffic the site does not load - do you have 'Intercept is on' configured under the Proxy -> Intercept tab? If so, does the site load (and do you still see the traffic in the Proxy -> HTTP history tab of Burp) if you switch this to 'Intercept is off'?

Hi, thanks for your help, to access the app i use a remote desktop, is there a way to scan anyway (I think this is the problem, I don't know)? Still does not work even with the "interception off" setting
