Run consecutive scans from API

Hi, I want to start scans from the API. My problem is that if I run the same scan twice, Burp will return no issues found for the second scan because they have been already reported in the first one. How can I do to get all the issues for every scan every time?

Are you using Burp Suite Professional or Burp Suite Enterprise? Could you tell us a bit more about your workflow to help us understand your requirements, please? How often are you running the scans?

Hi, I am using Burp Pro. I don't have a specific number of scans for now. During the testing, I have few scans per week. The scans are started by a Python script using the API. I might run the same scan multiple times per week and for each one of them I want to get the number of issues, without restarting the Burp jar.
