Repeater History Not Saved in Project File (Burp 2020.9.1 Win x64)

I opened yesterday's Burp project to resume my test, and the Repeater tab is empty. Yesterday, it had several requests & responses I'd been working on. This is reliably recreate-able in Burp Suite Pro 2020.9.1 on Windows x64: 1. Start a new Burp project. 2. Visit example.com. 3. Ctrl-R to send the GET to example.com to Repeater 4. In Repeater, click "send" to get any valid response 5. Close Burp Suite. 6. Open Burp Suite and open the project created in step 1. 7. Go to Repeater 8. Notice there are no requests there. Repeater is the same as it would be in a new, empty project. Previous versions of Burp did not save Repeater items in the project file unless they had been sent _in_ Repeater, so it's my habit to "send to repeater, then click 'send' in Repeater" to not lose these items. I installed Burp Suite Pro 2020.2.1 (because I had that installer available) to compare. That version behaves as expected. That is, at step 8 above, Repeater in this older version has tabs for each item that had been "sent" from Repeater, and no tabs for anything else.

Hi, Thank you for reporting this. I have tried replicating this and my Repeater tabs and history are always saved. Can you please send further information to support@portswigger.net? Ideally, diagnostics and a screen recording of your issue.

I cannot recreate this with a new Burp Project file. At the same time, I cannot avoid it in the Burp Project file it showed up in. Thank you for your quick reply. I'm sorry I cannot help narrow it down better (but I'm glad it seems to be a corner case!) Let's close this.
