I just started to receive a smart card error when attempting to load my smart card certificates to burp. I have been using the p11-capi.dll successfully for some time. The error I receive from the card manager follows. "A smart card was detected but is not the one required for the current operation. The smart card you are using may be missing required driver software or a required certificate. I have two machines one still works. Changes to the system that is now receiving error are only Microsoft patches. The following patches were applied just before functionality of PKCS11 stopped. I am running Windows 7 64 launching burp with Java 32 bit to use PKCS11 functionality. KB3035126 KB3032359 KB3034344 KB3035132 KB3033889 KB890830 KB3046049 KB3046049 KB3039066 KB3030377 KB3030377 KB3035131 KB3036493 KB3033929 KB3032323 KB3033889

It does sound as if this problem has been triggered by a recent Windows update, which can somehow prevented the smart card driver from working. Can you try reinstalling the drivers for your card, and maybe checking your card vendor for the latest available drivers?
