PSA: Burp segfault on Arch Linux after yesterday's update and this is the fix

To all Arch Linux users: yesterday's update of harfbuzz (a text shaping library) from version to 3.4.0 to version 4.0.0 makes Burp segfault on launch. To fix the issue, you can downgrade harfbuzz to the previous version using the following command: pacman -U https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/h/harfbuzz-icu/harfbuzz-icu-3.4.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/h/harfbuzz/harfbuzz-3.4.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

Another (probably better) solution is to use Java 17 instead of the 16 JRE that comes with Burp: app_java_home=/usr/lib/jvm/java-17-openjdk ~/BurpSuitePro/BurpSuitePro
