Professional / Community 2020.4 doesn’t start on my Windows 10.

Hello, support team. Professional / Community 2020.4 JAR application doesn’t start on my Windows 10 using JRE 1.8.0_251. I have confirmed that Professional / Community 2020.2.1 works with no problem on the same OS environment. I would like to know the solution and the error image says “Error:A JNI error has occurred, please check your installation and try again”. Regards, Shuji Ikeda

Hi, We removed support for Java 8 with the release of version 2020.4 so you will need to use an updated version of Java. For your reference, the platform version of Burp now comes embedded with OpenJDK 13.0.2.
