I would like to use Burp suite to perform penetration testing on an Application that is hosted on AWS what type of Permission do I need from the cloud service provider

You need permission from both the application owner and from Amazon. Amazon have a form where the application owner can request permission: - https://aws.amazon.com/security/penetration-testing/

It's an application which is in development in my company. I already have the permission of the application owner. As far as Amazon is concerned, the link you shared talks about AWS services. I am not doing penetration testing for any of the AWS services. So, I don't think I need to take any permission from Amazon or Do I?
