Performance Issues on web academy and portswigger.com login

I am not running any automated scans against the target and have limited extensions loaded. I am regularly waiting 20 seconds for a single request, often having to cancel and resend. Logging into portswigger.com I even have to login multiple times. In particular, repeater requests do not work well. Somehow requests which originate from the browser have a better chance of going through. I have tried connecting to a new VPN server and performance increased for some time. It appears some cloud appliance is throttling user requests.

Thanks for getting in touch. Are you running scans on the labs within the Academy when you see these issues? If so which labs are you running the scans on?
