Open more than one instance on Mac

Hello, I'm a new Mac user. When I was on Windows, Burp files got too large, so I'd refer back to the older file by opening it in a new instance. I can't find how to do that on Mac. I'm stuck with only one instance. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You should be able to run two instances of the same version of Burp if you use the installable version and a standalone Jar file version (you will need an external version of Java installed to run the standalone Jar file version of Burp) - this should get over the limitation of running two instances of the same application within MacOS.

For me this command worked, $ open -n /Applications/Burp\ Suite\ Professional.app
