Hello, I have been trying to navigate to various sites to capture traffic and only some sites work. I have configured Foxyproxy on loopback, port 8080 - Same defaults in Burp. Intercept is off. I navigate to tesco.com/yahoo.com and various other sites and everything works great, I navigate to portswigger.net/google and various other sites and I get a security warning. I have regenerated the cert and pulled it into authorities in FireFox and trusted it, re-installed Burp, tried changing the network proxy settings. Nothing seems to work What comes up - "Software is Preventing Firefox From Safely Connecting to This Site www.google.com is most likely a safe site, but a secure connection could not be established. This issue is caused by The original certificate provided by the server is untrusted, which is either software on your computer or your network." Thank you, Daz

Also, this does work via opening the Chromium browser in burp, but I want to use my own external browser.

Hi Daz Glad to hear that you are no longer experiencing this issue. It may have been that you needed some time for a cache to refresh or something similar. Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

The issue has now returned. No settings have been changed, struggling to understand what the issue is. As aforementioned, only certain sites won't give me a security error, such as Yahoo and Youtube but Google and Facebook won't allow me to connect.
