Old scanning workflow

Mark | Last updated: Apr 01, 2020 08:12AM UTC

Hello, Please can I request that we have the ability to revert to the old way of scanning and reporting for output. The new way is just too complicated for what it needs to achieve. I only submit some pages for active scanning and like to look at their progress and any associated vulnerabilities. It's really hard to track scans in the new dashboard, the "Audit items" tab looks like it should be of use, but really doesn't allow you to click through to any issues and is therefore a little bit useless. I've spent lots of time trying to get used to it, but it's just frustrating and time consuming for no benefit at all. Sorry Mark

Mark, thanks for your feedback. We are working on a number of solutions that would make your workflow less complicated: - We have long term plans to make the UI more configurable. - We have a story in our development backlog which will add an issues tab to the scab queue pop-up. - We're investing development time to make the UI workflow more streamlined. We've recently been working on the message editor. Please let us know if you need any further assistance or have any more feedback.

Hi Liam, Thanks for the update! My one request would be to have the option to have an old scanning engine view :) E.g List of URLs being scanned, drill down (one click) on them to look at found issues. I hope that's possible as it was the absolute minimal amount of clicks and worked really well. Thanks again Mark
