Not able to see the externsion list in burp suite pro

Hi Team, I'm facing issue while using the latest version of Burp suite pro V2023.7 The application is not able to load the extension list. I tried to use the refresh list option at the bottom but I get an error "Failed to update BApp list". I'm currently using the Windows 10 Enterprise. I'm not using any proxy as well. I'm able to download the "currentlist" file using the chromium browser URL: https://portswigger.net/bappstore/currentlist Let me know how to troubleshoot this issue.

Hi Neeraj Do you also see errors if you go to Help -> Check for updates? Are you able to connect to https://portswigger.net directly from your machine when you are not using Burp?

Hi Dominyque, I'm able to access the https://portswigger.net directly from my machine. But when I'm trying to check for updates, I'm getting the following error: "Unable to check for updates due to network error. Please check your network configuration and try again" Let me know if you need more information.

Hi Dominyque, I'm able to access the https://portswigger.net directly from my machine. Hi You might need to configure Burp to use an upstream proxy. You can find documentation on that here: https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/settings/tools/proxy. Additionally, are you able to manually install an extension? You might do this by going to the BApp Store: https://portswigger.net/bappstore and downloading the .bapp file. In Burp, head to Extensions tab> BApp Store, click 'Manual install...' and upload the .bapp file you downloaded.

Hi Dominyque, Thank you for the response. But can you please describe whats the issue I'm facing when trying to checking for updates and getting the above error.

Hi Neeraj I asked you to check for updates because the extension list and checking for updates use the same channel. Therefore, I wanted to check if one was not working, then the other might be the same. We have seen that for other users, creating the upstream proxy allows you to access that channel and receive the extensions and update check. Please let me know how you get on.

Hi Dominyque, Thank you for the information. Due to multiple install and uninstall, I'm not able to use my license again. I'm getting the following error "no more activations allowed for this license" Please assist me to unlock my license. Thank you,
