loading training and capture packets

Attempting to use API training, Upon initiating Burp Suite on Windows, I navigate to the proxy tab and proceed to launch the browser. This action directs me to the PortSwigger page, displaying “The latest research into web race conditions.” When I select the “go to learn to hack for free” button, nothing occurs. My strategy involves utilizing the Burp Suite browser to access the labs , thereafter monitoring the traffic within the proxy tab to analyze the traffic and forward it to other tabs to complete the labs. Is this approach valid?

Hi Normally, if you click on 'learn to hack for free', this would take you to the page https://portswigger.net/web-security/dashboard in your normal browser (rather than Burp's embedded browser). If you want to access the labs through Burp's embedded browser, you can enter the URLs directly into the embedded browser. I hope this helps. If you're just getting started with Burp and Burp's Proxy Tool, you may also find these resources useful: https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/getting-started/intercepting-http-traffic https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/tools/proxy
