Is it possible to proxy traffic through Vmware Horizon Client

Robert | Last updated: Jul 14, 2023 03:30AM UTC

I'm on a Mac and turn the proxy settings on in chrome (system proxy). Then I open up Vmware Horizon Client. When I try to connect to my server I see some traffic pass through and get 200 response. Then I see one that hangs and I get an error with Vmware Horizon Client not loading. So, then I went into the proxy settings (for Burp). I went to the TLS pass through section and added a check to "Automatically add entries on client TLS negotiation failure". Then when I open Vmware Horizon Client, it no longer fails and can access my server. Once I log into the server inside of VMware Horizon Client, I go to the application I need to go to and then click on a link. The link opens chrome up inside of VMware Horizon Client. I don't get any of this traffic. When I click on settings to open proxy settings up (Open your computer's proxy settings) nothing opens. I believe this is because I am inside the VMware Horizon Client. As this is the traffic I need to capture, is there any way for burp to capture this traffic?
