Intercept client javascript from proxy-intercept

Bin | Last updated: Jan 25, 2022 08:01AM UTC

I am testing a website that performs some client-side validation using javascript. I seem to recall that there is a setting to intercept javascript in the request area of the proxy intercept. When I currently enable intercept proxy and select the submit link on a post request, BurpSuite does not intercept the request and the javascript executes locally on the client. Is there a setting to allow me to intercept the client javascript and be able to view and or modify the javascript request through the repeater? Cheers

Are you referring to this tutorial? - https://portswigger.net/support/using-burp-to-bypass-client-side-javascript-validation It should work without needing to apply additional settings. Is the application you are having an issue with publicly accessible?
