Integrate Burp Professional with Jenkins

Hi Team, Is there any way to integrate burp professional version with jenkins or with CI/CD pipeline? I am using the professional version of burp and I really need to know about the integration of burp pro version. Regards, Harsh Rai

Harsh, this is possible, but has some limitations. You can't start or stop Burp and you can't use the REST API over HTTPS. Burp Pro will report the scan deltas, so if you wanted to see all issues found each time you ran a scan, you'd need to restart Burp. You'd also need to be careful that you have a license that covers the correct number of users. We created Burp Enterprise specifically with CI integration in mind. With Burp Enterprise, you would not need to worry about starting and stopping Burp as it deals with the lifecycle itself. You can also configure the REST API to be enabled over HTTPS. Hi Manjusha, Burp Suite Professional is not designed to work with Jenkins as Professional is designed for manual testing. Burp Suite Enterprise provides native support for Jenkins, TeamCity & a generic configuration for other CI systems so you should consider that edition if you're looking for Jenkins integration as Professional has limitations which Rose has described previously.
