Integrat Burp with TFS build

Obaida | Last updated: Jan 29, 2018 10:12AM UTC

Hello, Kindly I would like to know if we can integrate Burp with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or if we can integrate the test result into TFS. Also, is possible to run the test as continuous integration? Thanks in advance BR/Obaida

The new Enterprise edition of Burp will offer various capabilities: Headless server installation and unattended use, with a modern web front-end. Central configuration of an organization's web sites. Scans can be triggered by preconfigured schedules or on demand. Scalable pool of scan agents and external SQL storage, allowing huge scalability and parallel scanning. Central aggregation of scan results. Multi-user, with role-based access control. All actions drivable through a REST API, for easy integration with CI and other systems. There will be a separate license agreement for the Enterprise edition. The license will be similar in structure to the current Burp Pro license (based on number of agents). We'll publish details about the new license closer to the date of release. We're hoping to have a release of the Enterprise Edition available in the next week. If you're interested in this product we'll contact you with details at the appropriate time.

There's currently no native integration with TFS. There has been great progress on Burp Enterprise and a pre-release version is now being tested. For the pre-release version, while the core features and web front-end are completed, we have not yet created any plugins for CI integration, and the REST API is undocumented and subject to change. If your core interest is in automated CI integration, the pre-release version in its current form probably won't meet your needs although we hope to have this feature available in the pre release version in a few weeks.

We are also interested in testing a possible prerelease of the enterprise edition. Any chance on getting further information on the possibilities?

Anton, there is currently no native TFI integration with Burp Enterprise. I've updated our development backlog. Unfortunately, we can't provide an ETA.
