I was scanning a larger site with Dastardly extension and got timeout exceeded

Is there a way to override how long a scan can run with Dastardly? Steve

Hi Steve, Thanks for your post. Dastardly scans are capped at 10 minutes, which cannot be overridden. The intention behind this is that Dastardly scans are quick and easy to run and do not hold up pipeline builds for extended periods. If you have a use case for more granular control over CI/CD scanning, Burp Suite Enterprise provides pipeline integration with complete control over your scan configuration: https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/enterprise/integrate-ci-cd-platforms This is currently achieved via the use of our JAR-based drivers - but we also have a containerized version of Burp Scanner (aka "full fat Dastardly") in development that will be available later in the year.
