HTTP history column preferences

Hello, First off this is a truly awesome product, keep up the great work! I was wondering if there was a way to save the preferences of column order view in the HTTP history tab under Proxy. I often like to drag the time field next to the # field and the IP field next to the URL field. It would be handy if the next time I opened Burp the columns were in the order I last left them. There isn't currently a way to do this, sorry. Next time we work on general usability / UI features, we'll look into allowing this.

Would also be really handy to be able to store the size of the columns itself as i always find myself setting them up each time i start Burp, thanks!

Yes! I totally could relate to Garrett's proposal. It would be very helpfully that we can store the orders of the columns in HTTP history. Thanks!

Same here, I'd like to be able to do this. This is the main feature of Burp that I use, and every time I start up I have to resize the URL column and such. Remembering the last used settings would be great! I'm using Burp Pro 2.0 beta, by the way, so it seems the promise of "next time we work on [it]" didn't come to fruition.

This feature would be really helpful for me too. Haven't been able to do this in Burp Pro 2.0 beta either. Hope there is a way that it makes it into the 2.0 release version.

Unfortunately, this feature request is still in the backlog. We have a large number of requests and are unable to provide an ETA.

+1 would love to see this as well as the ability to choose which columns are displayed. There are some columns that I almost never use, and I would prefer to see them only when I ask for them specifically.

+1 waiting for it for a long time. Also saving columns in Intruder would be very useful - i have to show time-related columns in each attack, its really annoying.

+1 on this It would also be useful if there was a way to hide columns (for example, I almost never care about the listener port, because I only have one listener).

Hi, We improved the usability of tables in the 2023.12.1.3 release, below: https://portswigger.net/burp/releases/professional-community-2023-12-1-3?requestededition=professional You should be able to reorder and hide most tables within Burp.
