How to make 'open exisiting project' empty

When I open the burp, I find an 'open exisiting project' with the files I opened earlier I want to delete the files from the burp but they are not deleted from the original file

Thanks for getting in touch. Can you tell us more about your workflow and why this would be useful for you? Is there a particular reason that you need to remove the references to recently opened project files?

Because I am afraid that someone will access the files and modify them with requests in which the vulnerability were discovered

The level of security applied to Burp files is the user's responsibility. Do you keep your files on a private password-protected machine?
