How to export/Log "Original" and "modified" requests

Viswanath | Last updated: May 06, 2020 06:08AM UTC

I am using Burp Professional. Can anyone please tell if there is a way to export/Log "Original" and "modified" requests in the Burp Proxy tab. Thank you.

It does not look like you can do this by default. If you select a request in HTTP history > right-click > Save item, it will save your modified request and the resulting response. You will need to click into the Original request tab > Save item to save information from that tab. Do you want me to raise a feature request to save all the tabs (if an auto-modified request tab is present) when selecting Save item from HTTP history?

Thank you for the prompt response. Yes please. This Feature Request would be a great help for a user to analyze if the request is original or a modified one. Meanwhile, Can you please guide me if i can write a custom Extension/Custom Python script for doing it so that i can continue extracting both Original and Modified requests. Thank you :)
