Lets say i have in my target tab in burp a bunch of urls that are garbage and want to remove them (for example i ran a brute force on an app that returns 200 for any path ) lets say they all have a specific string in them that i can filter by how can i do that ? I basically want to remove all the requests from my target tab which contain a certain string.

Would the Site Map display filter be useful in this scenario for you? https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/tools/target/site-map You can use this to perform a negative search to ide certain requests, or you could use it to find those requests and then manually delete them. Please let me know if this helps.
