how do i intercept API response

Hi, I am quite new to Burp I am trying to intercept API response could see reponse on encrypted format (looks like some junk test) on Burp suite - intercept tab can you help me how to fix that

  • A screen recording of the issue replicated along with Diagnostics (Help > Diagnostics)
  • Do you have any extensions enabled in Burp? If so, try disabling them all > Intercept the same response again > Send some screenshots of the response and any other relevant Windows
  • Is this issue unique to the site you are testing? If you send the request that results in the 'encrypted' response via the browser instead (without Burp configured), are you seeing the same response?
  • Clarify what you mean by 'encrypted' - is the response not what you would expect to see? Is the entire response encrypted? Or are a few characters in the response garbled?
  • Are you working with multi-byte characters? I.e. is the site you are testing in a language like Japanese, Russian, etc...?
