How do i copy and paste a response in a text editor preserving the line breaks?

So in the "raw" response there is a js code all without line breaks, but in the "pretty" version there are and all is more organized, but when i copy the pretty version and paste it to a text editor its all like the raw one, without the line breaks. Example: if(rows == "" || rows == null) rows = 10; if(cols== "" || cols== null) cols = 10; --- if(rows == "" || rows == null)rows = 10; if(cols== "" || cols== null)cols = 10; -- Help is appreciated, thanks.
