Get my website to connect to burp over proxy

Jenny | Last updated: Feb 02, 2021 04:00PM UTC

We are scanning a new website that is only available on our local network. I am able to access the website when I am not using the burp proxy. However, when using either the proxy over external browser or using the internal browser the website is not able to connect. If I use the internal chromium browser a windows authentication login popup occurs that will not go away after local credentials are used. If I use external chrome over proxy chrome blocks the site. Note: I have reviewed the common trouble shooting methods and can confirm - Browser's proxy settings are correctly configured, and are using the same IP address and port number as configured in a running Proxy listener (127.0.0.1 and port 8080) - Other local websites work fine when scanning. - Intercept in Proxy setting is off - Website is in the trusted sites list - CA for portswigger is installed.
