Flipping bit Attack and Character Frobber

Dylan | Last updated: Jul 17, 2024 12:43AM UTC

I was wondering if you could share with me how I could effectively perform a Flipping bit attack and Character robbery by using the Burp suite to uncover an encrypted base attack in the application that impacts the application's response. I also would like to know which portswigger can be exercised with those two; I would be happy if you could give me a full step.

Hi You can find our documentation on different payload types in Intruder here: https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/tools/intruder/configure-attack/payload-types Unfortunately, I don't believe that we have an example lab in the Web Security Academy that focuses on these attack types. However, you can still use an Academy lab to test these payload types and observe the sorts of payloads they generate.
