Filter by method

Currently the view filter supports status code but it would be helpful to also be able to filter by request method (GET, POST, PUT, etc). Thank you, Micah

Hi Micah, We do have an existing feature request that would allow users to have more control over the queries created and used within the Filter. I have added your interest to this particular request so that we can accurately monitor the demand for it. If we do have any further news to share about this feature request in the future then we will update this forum thread.

I would like to be able to filter my HTTP history to hide OPTIONS as well so a request method filter would be nice. I know a user plugin was made to do exactly this https://portswigger.net/bappstore/fa14ac579cff4682b32f39af8d3651e7 but I'm not a fan of having one plugin for each micro-feature. As you explained in this thread https://forum.portswigger.net/thread/add-http-method-as-a-value-to-the-filter-scope-25e65c61, you think you will probably bring a filter query language instead of adding specific filters on demand. You can add me to the interest list for both.

Hi, The ability to programatically create your own filters should be being released in the very near future. This should allow you to create a filter view that does exactly what you need and shows you just the items that you are interested in.
