Failed to update BApp list

I have just downloaded and installed burp pro, activated it and tried to install some extensions. I have changed no other settings. The BApp store is empty with an error in the bottom right corner 'failed to update BApp list'. I have tried to refresh list. I have uninstalled Burp and reinstalled burp. I have downloaded the plugins manually from the burp site and tried to install them, all to no avail. I am running an upto date windows 10 machine. Any ideas where im going wrong?

Thanks for your message, Ben. Are you working via a corporate proxy or firewall? Are you able to access portswigger.net in your browser?

Hi, I am not using any proxy yet and no firewall other than the standard windows 10 firewall. I can access portswigger.net. Thanks for getting back to me so fast.

As a workaround, you can download BApps from https://portswigger.net/bappstore and manually install them to your Burp installation by using the "Manual Install" button in the bottom left of "Extender > BApp Store". Could you try using another network? Let us know if that helps.

I can install apps manually. I have tried using another network (three different networks) to no avail. I have installed an older version of Burp pro and still have the same issue.
