Extensions are not loading with Burp defaults

Hi Team, I always use Burp defaults option for configurations while opening/creating projects. I have a few extensions installed such as Retire.js, TokenJar, Active Scan++, etc. What my issue is that all the extensions are getting uninstalled except Active Scan++ and Auth Matrix. I need to reinstall other extensions each time when I open existing or creating new projects. In the case of Auth Matrix and Active Scan++, these are getting unloaded under the Extensions tab. Need to check again to load these extensions. I am using Burp 1.7.37 for more than a year. Kindly help me to overcome this.

Hi Balakumar, Under Extender -> Options -> Settings within Burp, is the Automatically reload extensions on startup option checked?

Hi Ben, Yes, both the Automatic Reload and Update BApps on startup options are checked.

Hi Balakumar, Your extension configuration is saved on your users local filesystem and will be done automatically, so if your settings are not persisting then it's likely that there is an issue when trying to save those changes. Are you using Burp Professional on Windows? If so, there should be a file called UserConfigPro.json, located under C:\Users\<yourUser>\AppData\Roaming\BurpSuite. Would you be able to send that file to us? If you send an email to support@portswigger.net and attach the file then we can take a look for you.

Hi Ben, Thank you for your reply. I do not know how, but it is working properly now. I checked with both new and existing projects. In case if the issue persists again, I will send an email with the config JSON file.

Hi Team, I have the same problem. Extensions keep getting unistalled after closing and opening the burpsuite pro regardless of any projects that I created.
