Export Burpsuite issues to CSV

Matt | Last updated: Jan 29, 2022 03:04PM UTC

Hi, I'm using Burpsuite Pro and was wondering if there's a way to export the Burpsuite XML to CSV so it can be imported to Powerbi?

Hi Matt, Just to clarify, you want to be able to export the Burp Professional vulnerability report in CSV format or are you referring to something else entirely?

Thats correct. Currently there's only the option to export to HTML or XML. Are there any Burp extensions that allow me to export issues to csv rather than xml/html?

Hi Matt, We are not aware of any extensions that would provide the functionality to do this. Having said that, we do have an existing feature request for exporting reports in Burp Professional in CSV format so I can certainly add your interest to this so that we can accurately monitor the level of demand for it. Something that you might be able to look to do as a workaround would be to use some kind of general HTML/XML to CSV converter to carry this out - obviously the mileage you get out of this might vary depending on the tool you use in this scenario but it might give you something to work with.

Ben, if you're adding counts to the feature request list, please add another for me! This would be a great feature and save time from using third-party Github converters. Thanks!

Hi Chris, I have added your interest to the feature request that we have recorded for this functionality. We will update this forum thread if we have any further news to share about this particular feature.
