Error while developing burp extension

I am getting the following error in my code: File "***line 56, in processHttpMessage if url in self.in_scope_targets: AttributeError: 'BurpExtender' object has no attribute 'in_scope_targets' Please help resolve the error. I am building a burp extension in which I would highlight the inscope urls in http history. Please help

Hi Troubleshooting issues with specific lines of code goes a little bit beyond the scope of our support, and if we did we would probably need a bit more information.
