"Error: Connection reset" message is getting displayed in the browser- Burp Suite Professional

Hi, I am unable to intercept both http and https sites even after installing the Burp CA certificate and configuring the Burp as proxy in the external browser or in the Burp Suite itself. Please let me know what is causing this issue? I am using Burp Suite Professional version.
