Enterprise Edition 2023.9.1 scans running days and failing

Since the update to 2023.9.1 scans that would take less than an hour are taking days and failing. No changes were made to the applications being scanned and no configuration changes were made to scans. CPU usage is at 100% with 16 CPUs and 3 scans running. We upgraded to 32 CPUs and CPU usage is at 20% with 2 scans running. We cannot complete the required scans since this update was installed. What are the plans to address this and what can be done as a workaround?
