Double click on Request or Response tab in the Target View for full screen view

When I double click on the Request or Response tab in the Target View, I would like to see this tab in full screen to better read the contents.

There is an option in the right-click menu of the Target tab to View -> Tabs (rather than Left/Right split) which will remove the Issues pane on the right-hand side which would give a bit more space to display the requests, if that would help. You can also detach the tab from the main Burp Window menu.
