Differences between 2 scans process

Hi. I have a question about scan/audit process in Burp. Our company has a process of running the scans with Insomnia (proxy with 8080 port). Once we have sent it to Burp and we got the task in HTTP request in Proxy tab, we ran a scan/audit. My question is: are there any differences if I just run a scan from Dashboard with the same config settings and use BURP Rest API from Insomnia? Thank you

Hi Provided that the same scan configurations are used, there should not be a difference between a scan launched using the REST API and a scan launched using the GUI.
