Create a scanner based on my proxy usage

vivek | Last updated: Sep 26, 2020 08:56AM UTC

Hi, I want to know if there is a way I can create a scanner based on my proxy usage. For example, if I browse to http://www.example.com/test.php?p1=name&p2=age using my web browser, I want burp to scan those and only those two detected parameters automatically using my payloads automatically in the background. Can you tell me how it can be done, a tutorial or refer me to a burp extension that does this? Thanks vivek

You can use the right-click menu from the Target and Proxy History tabs to send a specific request to the Scanner. You can find out more about this option in this video on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VP9eQhUASYQ&list=PLoX0sUafNGbH9bmbIANk3D50FNUmuJIF3&index=3&t=10s You can also find documentation on scanning on our website here: https://portswigger.net/burp/documentation/desktop/scanning Please let us know if this helps or if you have any further questions.
